Innerhalb des Trickfilmkurses wollte ich einen Animationsfilm erstellen. Mir fiel es jedoch schwer, eine Technik zu finden, da ich noch keine Erfahrungen hatte. Die älteste Form der Animation sind Zeichnungen, die dann mittels des Stop-Motion-Verfahrens eine Bewegung erzeugen. Das brachte mich auf die Idee, Figuren mithilfe des Trackpads zu zeichnen. Zur gleichen Zeit war ich auf einer Party, auf der die Katze des Hauses dem Gastgeber lautstark zurief, um seine Aufmerksamkeit zu erregen. Diese Szene wollte ich mit einigen ausgedachten Aspekten als Animationsfilm umsetzen. Also begann ich zu zeichnen und erstellte verschiedene Modelle. Das Schwierigste war die Katzenbewegung, denn den Torso und den Kopf musste ich getrennt animieren. Das bedeutet, wenn sich der Körper der Katze bewegt, musste ich auch den Kopf entsprechend mitbewegen. Dadurch entstand eine eigene Komik in der Animation, die ich beibehielt. Vom Katzenbesitzer habe ich zwei Zeichnungen erstellt, um eine Bewegung zu erzeugen. Die weiteren Gäste animierte ich mithilfe des Spiegelungstools. Das heißt, die Figur wird nach links und rechts gespiegelt. Dadurch entsteht der Eindruck, dass eine Bewegung stattfindet. Das gesamte Vorhaben habe ich dann mithilfe von Premiere bearbeitet und animiert.

During the animation course, I wanted to create an animated film. However, I struggled to find a technique since I had no prior experience. The oldest form of animation consists of drawings that, through the stop-motion process, create movement. This gave me the idea to draw figures using the trackpad. At the same time, I was at a party where the house cat loudly called for the host’s attention. I wanted to depict this scene in an animated film, adding some fictional elements. So, I started drawing and created various models. The most challenging part was animating the cat’s movements, as I had to animate the torso and head separately. This meant that whenever the cat’s body moved, I had to move the head precisely in sync. This added a certain comedic element to the animation, which I decided to keep. I created two drawings of the cat owner to simulate movement. I animated the other guests using the mirror tool, meaning the figures were mirrored from left to right, giving the impression of movement. I then edited and animated the entire project using Premiere.
